Please give us a bit of background on who you are and what you do?
I am a luxury, Natural Perfumer and Royal Alchemist creating masterpieces
from exotic oils and essences for 26 years under my own label JoAnne
Bassett. Some of the magnificent raw materials I use are 20 years old and
are mellow and beautiful like vintage fine wine. I am a Master and my
style of perfumery and high quality natural oils is unheard of in
mainstream and niche fragrance lines. Performing Divine and Royal Alchemy
on my perfumes I infuse them with amazing light and energy that can be
felt. That special energy is a gift I give to humanity.
When & how did your big shift take place?
In my 20's I was a Corporate Tax Accountant in management. I was downsized
when they were selling off divisions to liquidate the company. In my 30's
I was a stockbroker and financial adviser when the crash of 1989 came. I
left the industry and moved to the Seattle area. I learned about my
intuition, astrology and unlocked my gifts of innate wisdom from other
lifetimes. My Father died and I inherited money. Wanting to leave the
rainy weather I bought a ticket to Paris and a Eurail pass for 3 months.
During that time I had multiple synchronicities and flashbacks of past
lives as a healer and perfumer. I traveled to over 45 countries uncovering
my true purpose this lifetime. Bassett Aromatherapy was started in 1993
and expanded from there. I moved to Cardiff in Southern California to be
in the sun. My business morphed into a Natural Perfume business selling
world wide online. I opened a perfume boutique, Le Bijou in La Jolla and
I have never looked back. Creating a 6 figure business by myself, learning
to speak from stage, teaching classes at 5 star hotels, resorts and
events, appearing on telesummits sharing my gifts of clairvoyance healing
and more, and writing my Sacred Scents book have been highlights of my
breaking out of the glass ceiling. I have never been happier.
What inspires and motivates you?
My complex, natural perfumes raise consciousness and vibrations. I use no
toxic, synthetic fragrance oils like the niche perfumes and department
store fragrances contain. My natural perfumes are actually "helping
people" when they wear them with the Aromatherapy benefits and the energy
I impart. My magical perfumes have intentions that the wearer can receive
when they wear them using the protocol I suggest.
How do you differentiate yourself from your competitors?
I am a Natural Perfumer and Royal Alchemist. I create Custom Perfume
Potions and Custom Bespoke Perfumes that transform lives. My gift of
working with Divine energies enables me to combine precious natural oils
with intentions to support clients and miraculous changes come quickly and
effortlessly. All people have to do is wear the encoded natural perfumes
to be empowered. I also give back with my Philanthropy program.
What makes you unique?
I am a French Royal with a lineage that goes back to Charlemagne and I am
related to the oldest nobility of Europe. I marry the regal and royal part
of me with my own sensuality. Being in my own Sovereign queen hood and
medicine woman, I continue the Royal Families tradition of using rare and
precious oils from nature in my Custom Bespoke Perfumes and in my
Collections. These custom one of a kind creations are enjoyed by women and
men with impeccable taste. For over 26 years I have created these gems
with clients from all over the world. People with discerning taste seek me
out and have bespoke perfumes created for their families. I am able to do
this without meeting individuals in person. My ability to read people has
resulted in marvelous custom perfumes. People return year after year and
commission me to create a new Custom Bespoke Perfume. I also sell to
Royalty as I did in past lives.
