Founder and CEO of ASGFR Capre Cleary: How A Young Entrepreneur Managed to Turn a Facebook Group Into A Booming Business

Capre Cleary

Capre Cleary is the Australian founder and CEO of ASGFR. Before being the highly acclaimed entrepreneur with a booming business however, Capre Cleary was just another girl that  had always struggled with fluctuation of skin issues. Listening to beauty gurus and having people have varying opinions on skincare products, Capre, like some of her peers, was unsure of what to do to improve their skin. Despite her looking for solutions, Capre could not find the answers she wanted and instead tried to cover her breakouts with makeup. After feeling low, Capre decided that she needed a place where she could talk about her struggles and also get advice from people who experienced the same breakouts. From not finding similar experiences with her friends and searching for skincare advice online, Capre started the Facebook group: A Skin Guide For Rookies. Capre 's vision for the group was to provide a safe space for people to come together and help each other through their skincare questions and concerns.

A Skin Guide For Rookies group was instantly loved by many as people gave each other advice on skincare, exchanged honest and helpful reviews on skincare products, and shared their skincare routines. Being inspired by the community, Capre saw how A Skin Guide For Rookies could become a company that helped people understand skincare and provided quality skincare products. She started to write personal blogs about her experience and began to form a closer bond with the community as the group grew.

After seeing questions that she could not answer in the group, Capre reached out to individuals that had a background in skincare and dermatology so that she could give A Skin Guide For Rookies group professional advice on their skin struggles. Through Capre Cleary reaching out to individuals with professional backgrounds such as nutritionists and dermatologists, she provided people with videos and more advice on how to help their skin. From seeing the positive reaction to her content on skincare, Capre became inspired to create a brand that would give all people a product that could help them improve their skin.

From research on skin and what materials help with acne and other skin issues to consulting professionals, Capre took the ideas and concerns from A Skin Guide For Rookies and made it into ASGFR. Capre knew that the business would help people find a solution to their skin issues and put all of her efforts into creating products that would help beginners and help skincare lovers elevate their skincare routines. Becoming an entrepreneur, Capre knew that starting a  business dedicated to helping fellow peers that struggled with skin issues, would result in the reward of finding solutions that all could enjoy.

Capre's vision and study of different natural products resulted in her creating the "The Guide Me Wash Cloth". The clothed sponge was designed to help people smoothly take off products from their faces. Capre knew the struggle of having products aggravate her skin as she tried to wipe makeup or face masks off. However, Capre fought hard to have the "The Guide Me Wash Cloth" be made with quality products that would provide users with a refreshing and effective experience. The care that Capre put into the "The Guide Me Wash Cloth" was seen by all customers as they fell in love with the product. So many people loved the product that Capre made the cloth in different sizes and colors like mocha, charcoal, and snow. Because Capre cared for her customers' opinions, she listened to their feedback and continued to communicate with the A Skin Guide For Rookies group.

Due to Capre's hard work and an open mind to professionals and customers, ASGFR was recognized in DailyMail Australia and Body + Soul. The websites praised ASGFR as the DailyMail Australia included how "The Guide Me Wash Cloth" is a part of the Ultimate Collagen Booster Kit by The Skin Bar. To have more people learn about her products, Capre partnered up with the creator of The Skin Bar, Samantha Appel. From working with The Skin Bar, Capre took her new knowledge of different skincare products and used it to better her brand. The other article, Body + Soul, named "The Guide Me Wash Cloth"  as one of the best skincare products under 15 dollars.

The success of ASGFR did not stop at the "The Guide Me Wash Cloth." Capre saw customers' need for cloth that would get rid of dead skin. So, from the request of her customers, Capre made the "The Guide Me Exfoliant." Just like its sister product, "The Guide Me Exfoliant," was a hit. Customers loved the product and trusted the brand since they could see Capre's dedication to the brand.

Despite being a successful entrepreneur, Capre stays connected with her customers. From still running the A Skin Guide For Rookies Facebook group to being active on social media platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, and Pinterest, customers can get advice from Capre and see how much she loves her product. In addition, Capre provides viewers with tutorials and answers to their questions. Overall, Capre Cleary’s journey through skincare reveals the beauty and hard work of the ASGFR destination. Through her commitment to her customers and focus on providing the best products, Capre shows that she is ready to change the skincare industry.
